On November 20-21, 2019, the 3-rd Global Geo-Ecological Shooting Symposium in Key Black Soil Areas (BASGES) was successfully held in Chengdu (Tianfu Eco City), the capital of Sichuan Province. The conference was organized by the International Black Soil Association and the Shenyang Geological Survey Center. The meeting was attended by more than 80 experts and scientists from Heilongjiang Department of Natural Resources, Chinese Mining and Technology University, Chengdu University, Jilin University, Beijing University, Nanjing University, Chinese University of Geosciences, Beijing Institute of Geology, International Institute of Geology, Federation of Geosciences, Czech Geological Service, Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Mongolian Geological Survey Center and other units in the country and abroad.

From the CASRE IGS NAS of Ukraine participated with the report employee of the Department of Aerospace Research in Geoecology Ruslan Shevchuk.

The meeting discussed in detail the deployment of IGCP665 & BASGES in 2020 and clearly defined the goals and content of the work for the coming year. At the same time, one of the main goals in 2020 is to conduct comprehensive research and implementation of space-to-air technology in key critical black soils zones around the world, covering remote sensing, geochemical and other research methods and tools
