17-26 June, 2014 in Albena, Bulgaria hosted 14th International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference (SGEM 2014).

Conferences are well known and recognized as one of the most prestigious and with big impact factor events in the International Scientific World. It is the biggest forum that combines all fields of GEO-SCIENCES. The main organizers of the conference are the Academy of Sciences: Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova, Montenegro, Croatia, Georgia, Turkey, Science Council of Japan, the World Academy of Sciences, the European Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters, the Bulgarian Industrial Association, the Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Water.

The conference was held on 27 scientific fields, covering all areas of Earth Sciences. Scientific Committee were selected and published around 1600 reports, including two report from the Ukraine in the partition: Informatics, Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing, section "Cartography and GIS".
